What You'll Need:
Asian Paper Lanterns Paper Pack
Yellow Embellishment Kit
Pink Paper Flowers
Other supplies:
Wooden skewer
Embroidery floss
Ribbon Assortment
Hot glue gun
1. Cut a 2" x 12", a 3" x 9", and a 4" x 6 1/2" paper strips from the paper pack. Glue ribbon to the bottom of each strip. Fold the 2" x 12" strip into a square shape; make the other two strips into circle shapes. Glue edges.
2. Cut 2 pieces of wooden skewer into 4" lengths. Glue together into an "X" shape. (This will be your lantern frame).
3. Insert the "X" frame into the top of the square shape and glue the ends of the skewer to the inside corners of square shape. Insert larger circle into square and glue top to skewer; repeat with smaller circle shapes.
4. Make a 7" long tassel out of embroidery floss and tie to the crossed edges of the wooden "X" frame.
