INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Ink the edges of 12" x 12" solid cardstock with alabaster chalk ink. Trim patterned paper to 11 1/2" x 11 1/2", inking the edges with burnt sienna chalk ink, and attach it to the background paper.

2. Matted a 5 1/2"x3 3/4" photo on solid cardstock with inked edges. Cut scraps of patterned paper strips to look like ribbons, ink the edges, and adhere them to the back of the matted photo. Mat the photo on a coordinating solid cardstock with rounded corners and inked edges and attach to the upper-left corner of the layout.

3. Cut a 10 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of solid cardstock, round the corners, ink the edges with burnt sienna chalk ink, and adhere it to the right side of the layout. Cut a 1/2" x 4 1/4" strip of patterned paper, ink the edges, and attach the strip near the top of the solid cardstock. Place a 3 1/2" x 3 1/4" photo just below the patterned strip, adding a sticker with inked paper scraps peeking from behind.

4. Adhere a 6 3/4" x 4 3/4" piece of patterned paper with rounded corners and inked edges to layout horizontally, below the two photos and overlapping the solid cardstock. Mat a 3 1/4" x 4 3/4" photo on solid cardstock, ink the edges, and adhere it to this patterned paper, overlapping the right edges.

5. Print your journaling onto solid cardstock, then attach it to the layout after inking the edges with chalk ink. Add white rub-ons to the photos for a final touch.
