1. Choose five pieces of patterned paper scraps, round the corners and chalk ink the edges. Attach them all to a piece of 12x12 coordinating cardstock.

2. Mat a 5x7 photo onto a 5 1/4x7 1/4 piece of cardstock. Use four mini brads on each of the corners of the photo and attach the photo to the layout.

3. Print out journaling, chalk ink the edges, and mat onto cardstock; chalk ink the edges again. Tie on two different ribbons, and use 3-D foam dots to pop up the journaling spot.

4. Select several character stickers and place them on the layout.

5. Use a black fine tip archival pen to add dots and dashes along the outer edge of the background page, the photo, and the journaling spot.
