Glue Runner™
Tip: When adding a ribbon accent, tie the bow first, then wrap the ends of the ribbon around the photo to determine bow placement. Place a dot of adhesive behind the bow, trim the ribbon ends and glue in place to the back of the photo.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut a 1x12 strip of cardstock, ink the edges, and apply the strip horizontally just below the center of the 12x12 patterned paper.
2. Take a 5x12 piece of solid cardstock, tear the top edge roughly; ink all edges with charcoal chalk ink, and apply it to the lower edge of the layout, overlapping the carstock strip.
3. Mat a 5x7 photo on white cardstock, inking the edges. Ink a pair of photo corners and adhere them to top of the photo. Add ribbon along bottom of photo, securing edges around the back. Mat the photo on a piece of solid of cardstock with inked edges and attach to the left side of the layout.
4. Print your journaling on white cardstock, ink the edges, and apply it to the lower-right corner of the layout. Add a sticker for a fun touch.
5. Apply word stickers to cardstock. Trim and ink the edges, pop up the words on the patterned background with adhesive foam dots. Use one of these dimensional phrases to overlap the photo.
6. Using punches, punch out stars in three different colors of cardstock, one each of small and large stars. Ink the edges and use adhesive foam dots to make the stars pop off the page.
