1. Cut a 5x7 piece of patterned cardstock. Adhere to the top-right edge of a 12x12 sheet of solid cardstock. Mat a 4x6 photo on white cardstock then to a 5x7 piece of patterned cardstock. Adhere two sticker tabs to the corners of the photo. Attach matted photo to upper-right corner, overlapping the patterned paper.

2. Cut and mat two little photos on white cardstock. Attach to lower center portion of layout. Tie a doubled length of ribbon to a tag sticker and adhere it between the small photos.

3. Cut a 2 1/2 x 11 1/2 piece of solid cardstock. Adhere vertically to left edge of the background paper.

4. Using the Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter, cut the word "BIRTHDAY" To make the letters adhesive, run them through the Xyron 250 Sticker Maker. Cut 8 short lengths of different colors of organza ribbon. Gently tie ribbon to the letters; adhere the embellished letters to the cardstock strip. Stick bracket stickers to the top and bottom of the cardstock strip.

5. Apply a decorative tag sticker to the bottom-right corner of the background paper. Journal onto a piece of white cardstock and adhere to the decorative tag.

6. Add a few more stickers here and there to balance your layout.
